Packing Up and Heading Home:
Session Adjourned
Dear Neighbors,
The 26th Legislative Session ended just after midnight early Monday morning, with a flurry of important bills passing in the final hours.
I want to thank those of you who wrote and called throughout the session. Your thoughts were very valuable in helping guide my decisions. It’s been a true honor to serve you and District 29 in the Alaska State Legislature.
I look forward to working with you in person over the next few months!
Please stay tuned. My next newsletter will detail how policy and budget decisions made over the last few days could affect District 29 and our neighbors.
My office will be closed from today until Wednesday, April 27th, while my files and computers are trucked north from Juneau.
If you need to reach me in the meantime, please call my office at 269-0240.
I’m here for you,
