Alaska Operating Budget:
Public Testimony on Tuesday
Dear Neighbors,
On Tuesday, March 5th, 4:00 to 5:15pm, the House Finance Committee will take public testimony from Anchorage residents on the state’s operating budget for the coming year. This will be the main opportunity to give input on Alaska’s funding priorities.
Where: Anchorage Legislative Information Office, 716 W. 4th Avenue, Suite 200
When: Tuesday, March 5th, 4:00 to 5:15pm (come 15 minutes early to sign up)
Length of testimony: 2 minutes

Anchorage citizens testify before the Anchorage Legislative Caucus, February 23.
Pre-Kindergarten education and support for mental health programs have been cut dramatically in the current budget. These are among numerous cuts that will cause long-term pain for short-term gain. Regardless of your priorities, I hope you can attend Tuesday and let the Legislature know your priorities related to state funding.

Feb. 23, 2013: Rep. Chris Tuck shares a legislative update with constituents.
I’m here for you, so please keep in touch on matters important to you and your family!
Warm regards,
