Important Testimony Opportunity: Constitutional Amendment on Education Funding

Tomorrow the House Finance Committee will take public testimony on HJR 16 “Constitutional Amendment: Educational Funding”. This resolution would amend the Alaska Constitution to allow state funds to be used for religious or private educational institutions.

Please consider testifying if you support or oppose this idea.

Date: Tomorrow, February 28th

Time: 4-9pm (with a break from 6-6:30pm). Please note that you must be signed up by 7pm.

Where: Fairbanks Legislative Information Office, 1292 Sadler Way, 3rd Floor in the Alaska USA building next to Home Depot.
